KARACHI: Bouncing from one controversy to another Pakistani bombshell Veena Malik has managed to don headlines for the past few years. The versatile actress who was ‘exported’ to India seems to be intent on securing some of the most challenging roles in the industry.
The notorious actress will now be appearing in Rajov Ruia’s upcoming film “Zindagi 50:50” playing the role of a B-girl. Though, this is not the first time the industry will feature a leading lady in this type of role, Veena has reportedly been doing intensive research to understand her persona better. She reportedly loves the character whom she describes as being “realistic rather than bold”.
The actress visited Jaipur to promote the film where she was mobbed by thousands of enthusiastic fans, subsequently cutting her visit short. Veena Malik is also looking forward to her other Bollywood film “The City that Never Sleeps,” directed by Haroon Rashid and produced by Satish Reddy, and scheduled for release later this year.
“Zindagi 50:50,” is slated for release on 24th May, 2013.
