Shahzeb murder case: Siraj Talpur, two others sent on 10-day physical remand

KARACHI: Siraj Talpur and two others accused in the case of Shahzeb Khan’s murder were handed over to the police on a 10-day physical remand.

The suspects — Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur, a brother of Siraj, and another — were handed over to the police by a special anti-terrorism court in Karachi.

Moreover, the court had also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Shahrukh Jatoi and a police team was expected to leave for Dubai to arrest him.

Shahrukh Jatoi, a key suspect in the murder case, is said to have fled to the UAE within hours of the incident.

Earlier, Siraj Talpur and three other suspects in the Shahzeb murder case had been arrested during raidsin different towns in Sindh.

Twenty-year-old Khan was gunned down on Dec 25, 2012 in Karachi and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had also taken a suo motu notice in this case.
