Rental Power Case: NAB Investigator suspiciously found dead

ISLAMABAD: Kamran Faisal, an investigation official of the nation's leading anti-corruption body NAB, has been discovered deceased at his residence, Globe News reported Friday.
The National Accountably Bureau (NAB) official was helping Research Officer Asgahr Khan one of the nation's super crime scandal related Rental Power Projects also involving Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
Police said the official was living in Government Resorts and allegedly committed suicide. However, investigations were underway.
Body of Kamran Faisal was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Sources in NAB said that the official had been under stress for being part of the Rental Power case. Islamabad police chief Bani Amin confirmed that the body had been found.
"We are investigating from different angles... We will establish an opinion after the autopsy," he said.
Correspondent says Faisal hailed from Mian Chunnu in Punjab and is survived by two daughters and a widow. NAB chairman Admiral (retd) Fasih Bukhari also visited the sconce and expressed sorrow over the death of the NAB officer.
